Valor Hospitality Partners Appoints Yann Decaix as Cluster General Manager for Dubai Deira Portfolio

Valor Hospitality Partners has announced the appointment of Yann Decaix as Cluster General Manager for its Dubai Deira and Gold District hotel portfolio.

In this expanded leadership role, Decaix will oversee seven properties representing multiple international brands, including Radisson Blu, Novotel, Mercure, Aparthotel Adagio and Ibis Styles.

The portfolio is located in Deira, one of Dubai’s most established commercial and tourism districts.

Nearly Three Decades of Hospitality Expertise

Decaix brings close to 30 years of experience across global hospitality markets, including more than ten years in senior leadership roles within the Middle East.

He previously served as General Manager of NH Collection Colombo, where he led a major brand transition and repositioning initiative. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai, delivering operational efficiencies, improved profitability and higher guest satisfaction scores during a competitive market cycle.

His background also includes senior management positions with Accor and Minor Hotels, spanning operations, revenue strategy and commercial performance.

Focus on Operational Excellence and Asset Performance

As Cluster General Manager, Decaix will guide strategy, daily operations and commercial performance across the Deira portfolio.

His mandate includes strengthening asset value, enhancing guest experience standards and driving sustainable revenue growth. He will collaborate closely with property owners, brand partners and hotel leadership teams to align operational objectives with long-term market positioning.
