Yann Decaix Appointed Cluster General Manager for Valor Hospitality’s Dubai Deira & Gold District Portfolio

New Leadership for a Key Dubai Hospitality Hub

Valor Hospitality Partners has named Yann Decaix as Cluster General Manager for its Dubai Deira and Gold District portfolio. The appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening leadership depth across its growing Middle East operations.

Decaix will oversee a multi-brand waterfront collection led by Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek, along with several properties operating under the Accor umbrella in the Gold District and Deira precinct.

In his new role, Decaix will guide both strategic direction and day-to-day operational leadership across the portfolio. His focus will center on improving asset performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering guest-centric hospitality experiences.

He will work closely with ownership groups, brand partners, and property-level leadership teams to align commercial goals with long-term value creation.

International Experience in Operations and Brand Transformation

Decaix brings more than a decade of senior hospitality leadership experience across the Middle East and international markets. His expertise includes hotel repositioning, complex operational management, and brand transitions.

Most recently, he served as General Manager of NH Collection Colombo, where he led a major brand conversion project, successfully repositioning the property within a competitive market environment.

Prior to that, as General Manager of Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai, he steered operations during a challenging market period, maintaining financial stability and driving improvements in guest satisfaction and profitability.

Earlier in his career, Decaix spent nearly ten years with Accor in Dubai, holding leadership roles across general management, sales, revenue, and front-office operations.
