Mondrian Hotels & Residences is set to debut in the United Arab Emirates with the opening of Mondrian Abu Dhabi. The project marks the brand’s first property in the country and strengthens its presence in the Middle East’s growing lifestyle hospitality sector.

Developed in collaboration with Al Hazoom Group and part of the global portfolio of Ennismore, Mondrian Abu Dhabi introduces a design-forward, culture-driven hotel concept to the UAE capital.

Mondrian Abu Dhabi will be located along the Abu Dhabi canal in the city’s vibrant downtown district. The waterfront property will offer panoramic views of Reem Island and Al Maryah Island, as well as the capital’s modern skyline.

The hotel is positioned within easy reach of major attractions such as The Corniche, Abu Dhabi Mall and The Galleria Al Maryah Island, making it an attractive destination for business travellers and leisure guests alike.

221 Rooms and 80 Serviced Apartments

The new hotel will feature 221 guestrooms alongside 80 serviced apartments, catering to short-term visitors and long-stay residents. The accommodation design is expected to blend Mondrian’s bold artistic identity with contemporary Middle Eastern influences.

Award-winning interior architect Tristan Du Plessis has been appointed to shape the property’s design vision, incorporating clean lines, dynamic forms and immersive spaces that reflect the brand’s signature aesthetic.

Lagoon-Style Infinity Pool and Lifestyle Amenities

A standout feature of Mondrian Abu Dhabi will be its crystal-clear lagoon with an infinity-edge design, surrounded by sun loungers and daybeds overlooking the water. The lagoon area is designed to serve as both a relaxation zone and a vibrant social setting.

The property will also offer six restaurants and bars, a ballroom, four meeting rooms, a spa, a swimming pool, a children’s club, retail outlets and a fully equipped fitness centre. These amenities position the hotel as a comprehensive lifestyle destination within the capital.
