Sustainable luxury hospitality brand Our Habitas has announced the development of three new eco-focused hotels in Leyja, a premium tourism destination within NEOM’s Gulf of Aqaba region in northwest Saudi Arabia. The project strengthens Saudi Arabia’s growing position in regenerative tourism and aligns with NEOM’s long-term commitment to conservation-led development.

The three distinct properties will collectively offer 120 rooms and suites, creating an integrated hospitality journey built around adventure, nature immersion, and advanced wellness experiences.

Leyja is being developed within a dramatic natural wadi framed by towering 400-meter-high mountains shaped over centuries by water and geological forces. Extending inland from the Gulf of Aqaba coastline, the destination blends untouched natural beauty with carefully planned architectural design.

Approximately 95% of Leyja will remain preserved for nature, positioning it as one of the most conservation-focused hospitality developments in the region. Guests will begin their stay at a coastal experience center before moving deeper into the valley toward the three Our Habitas hotels, encouraging exploration and connection with the landscape.

Located further inside the valley, Oasis is conceived as a celebration of balance between innovation and environmental harmony. The hotel will host curated culinary programs, including a Chef-in-Residence concept, alongside stargazing rituals and immersive nature experiences that highlight the region’s unique desert ecosystem.
