Global performance-luxury brand Equinox Hotels will debut Equinox Resort Amaala at Amaala, the wellness-centric destination on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast.
Developed with Red Sea Global, the marina-front property will form part of Triple Bay’s first phase, positioning high-performance living at the heart of one of the Kingdom’s most anticipated tourism projects.
Waterfront Setting at Triple Bay
The resort will sit at the centre of Triple Bay’s luxury marina district, adjacent to the Yacht Club and within walking distance of retail, dining and marine attractions.
Framed by the Red Sea and the Hijaz Mountains, the site combines yachting culture with dramatic desert-meets-ocean landscapes. The building is conceived as a sculptural focal point that opens toward the marina while capturing expansive coastal views.
Architecture & Interior Design
Architecture is led by Foster + Partners, with interiors by Rockwell Group.
The design blends clean contemporary lines with natural materials, maximizing daylight and sea-facing vistas. Public areas are planned to flow seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces, reinforcing the destination’s climate and waterfront character.

Sustainability & Regenerative Ambitions
Sustainability is embedded within both the resort and the broader Amaala masterplan. The destination targets a 30 percent net conservation benefit by 2040 through habitat restoration initiatives focused on mangroves, seagrass, coral reefs, and terrestrial vegetation.
Amaala is designed to operate on 100 percent renewable energy and achieve a zero-carbon footprint once fully complete, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to regenerative tourism under Vision 2030.
Strategic Significance for Saudi Tourism
Equinox Resort Amaala strengthens Saudi Arabia’s growing portfolio of wellness-led luxury developments along the Red Sea. By merging architecture, high-performance living, and environmental stewardship, the property supports the Kingdom’s ambition to attract global travelers seeking transformative, experience-driven stays.
With its marina-front location, performance-focused programming, and sustainability-led design, Equinox Resort Amaala is set to become a flagship wellness destination at Triple Bay.
