Hilton Abu Dhabi introduces EMiRGE programme to nurture Emirati talent in hospitality
Hilton Abu Dhabi has launched the EMiRGE programme, a two-year initiative designed to develop Emirati talent for leadership roles in hospitality. The structured pathway includes training, specialisation, project work, and executive shadowing. Participants benefit from Hilton University, career exposure across departments, and global travel perks. Supporting the UAE’s Emiratisation goals, the programme strengthens the local talent pipeline and highlights Hilton’s commitment to workforce development in the region.
Hilton has launched a new talent development initiative in Abu Dhabi, the Emirati Grow and Evolve Programme (EMiRGE), aimed at preparing UAE nationals for leadership roles within the hospitality sector.
The programme supports the country’s Emiratisation objectives by building a strong pipeline of skilled local professionals while strengthening Hilton’s long-term workforce strategy in the region.
Two-Year Structured Development Pathway
EMiRGE is designed as a two-year “learner-to-leader” journey, structured across five progressive stages—learning, specialisation, project execution, leadership shadowing, and mastery.
Participants begin with core hospitality training before moving into specialised roles and hands-on project work. The later stages offer direct exposure to senior leadership through shadowing, enabling participants to develop practical management skills and confidence.
Comprehensive Learning and Employee Benefits
The programme provides access to Hilton’s global learning platform, Hilton University, offering role-specific training and continuous skill development. Participants also receive financial support and access to Hilton’s employee travel programme, which includes discounted stays across its international hotel network.
In addition, candidates gain exposure to multiple operational areas such as front office, guest experience, commercial operations, IT, human resources, and engineering.

The initiative was unveiled during a recruitment-focused career event at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, where aspiring professionals explored career opportunities within Hilton’s portfolio. The programme is currently open for applications, targeting high-potential Emirati candidates.
