Aman Group Expands Janu Brand with Al Marjan Island Resort in Ras Al Khaimah
Aman Group has announced Janu Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, expanding its lifestyle-focused Janu brand in the UAE. The 132-room beachfront resort will include branded residences, wellness facilities, restaurants, and a private beach club. The development complements Janu Dubai and projects in Diriyah and AlUla, reinforcing Aman Group’s Middle East growth strategy and the region’s expanding luxury hospitality market.
Global luxury hospitality company Aman Group has announced the development of Janu Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, further expanding its lifestyle-focused Janu portfolio across the Middle East.
The beachfront project will be the second Janu destination in the UAE, complementing the upcoming Janu Dubai, and reinforces the brand’s regional growth strategy spanning the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Janu Al Marjan Island: Beachfront Luxury in Ras Al Khaimah
Set on Al Marjan Island, one of Ras Al Khaimah’s premier waterfront destinations, the new resort will feature 132 guestrooms alongside branded residences. Designed by SCDA Architects, the property is envisioned as a contemporary coastal retreat blending relaxed luxury with social vibrancy.
Key amenities are expected to include:
-
A wellness centre with yoga studio, gym and sauna
-
Two signature restaurants and a mixology bar
-
Private beach club facilities
-
Dedicated children’s club
-
A nightlife venue
The residential component will offer one- to five-bedroom residences and private villas located near the island’s marina, enhancing the lifestyle appeal of the development.
Strengthening the UAE Hospitality Portfolio
Janu Al Marjan Island will follow Janu Dubai, which is currently under development in an urban setting. Together, the projects signal Aman Group’s confidence in the UAE’s luxury tourism market and Ras Al Khaimah’s growing position as a high-end coastal destination.
The Janu brand is positioned as a dynamic and socially engaging complement to Aman’s ultra-exclusive resorts, focusing on community, wellbeing and contemporary design.
Ongoing Expansion in Saudi Arabia
Beyond the UAE, Janu is advancing projects in Saudi Arabia, including Janu Diriyah near the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif and Janu AlUla in the historic desert region of AlUla.
These developments align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to diversify tourism and position the Kingdom as a global luxury and heritage travel destination.
Janu Brand Identity and Philosophy
Janu, meaning “soul” in Sanskrit, represents Aman Group’s second hospitality brand. While maintaining high standards of service and design, Janu properties are characterized by energetic social spaces, expansive wellness facilities, and immersive cultural programming.
The concept is designed to appeal to a new generation of global travelers seeking both luxury and meaningful human connection.
Aman Group’s Broader Growth Strategy
Founded in 1988, Aman Group operates luxury hotels and residences worldwide. The introduction of additional Janu properties reflects the company’s dual-brand strategy, combining Aman’s secluded retreats with Janu’s lifestyle-oriented, socially connected environments.
The Middle East remains a key focus for expansion, supported by rising demand for branded residences, wellness tourism, and experiential hospitality.
Janu Al Marjan Island marks another milestone in Aman Group’s regional expansion. With projects underway in Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, Diriyah and AlUla, the Janu brand continues to strengthen its footprint across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, contributing to the evolution of luxury lifestyle hospitality in the region.
