Six Senses Expands into the UAE Hospitality Market

Global luxury wellness brand Six Senses is preparing to open its first property in the United Arab Emirates with the launch of Six Senses The Palm, Dubai in early Q3 2026. The upcoming resort represents a strategic expansion for the brand into one of the world’s most competitive luxury tourism destinations.

Known internationally for its sustainability-led philosophy and wellness-driven experiences, Six Senses’ entry into Dubai signals increasing demand for boutique, purpose-driven hospitality in the region.

Prime Location on Palm Jumeirah

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai will be situated on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, an area recognised for its exclusivity and beachfront appeal. The low-density resort will feature 61 all-suite accommodations, offering guests privacy while maintaining proximity to Dubai’s urban attractions.

The property will provide panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, The Palm and the city skyline, combining natural landscapes with direct beach access. Designed as a tranquil retreat within reach of the city, the resort aims to deliver a balanced experience between seclusion and connectivity.

Sustainable Architecture and Responsible Design

The development will follow LEED-certified design standards, integrating organic architectural forms, biophilic materials and energy-efficient systems. Sustainability measures are expected to include water conservation, waste reduction initiatives and environmentally conscious operational practices.

The resort will also introduce an Earth Lab concept, encouraging guest participation in sustainability awareness and environmental responsibility. This approach aligns with broader UAE sustainability objectives, including national green initiatives focused on long-term development.

Wellness-Driven Hospitality Experience

Wellbeing will form the foundation of Six Senses The Palm, Dubai. The resort plans to incorporate a longevity centre, biohacking lounge, Alchemy Bar, and yoga and meditation studios.

By blending science-backed wellness technologies with traditional healing practices, the property aims to offer holistic experiences designed to enhance vitality, balance and long-term health. The concept reflects the rising global demand for wellness tourism and preventative lifestyle travel.

Culinary Concept Focused on Mindful Dining

Dining at the resort will follow the Eat with Six Senses philosophy, centred on seasonal produce, locally sourced ingredients where feasible, and mindful preparation methods. A zero-waste kitchen model will support sustainable culinary operations.

Multiple dining venues and social spaces will cater to couples, families and long-stay guests, reinforcing the resort’s positioning as both a luxury getaway and community-oriented retreat.

Accessibility and Market Positioning

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai will be located approximately 35 minutes from Dubai International Airport and around 25 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport. Private transfers by road, sea or helicopter are expected to be available, supporting the property’s premium positioning.

As Dubai continues to diversify its hospitality offerings, the addition of Six Senses introduces a differentiated model centred on sustainability, wellness innovation and boutique luxury.
