Kempinski Hotels has expanded its footprint in Saudi Arabia with the opening of Kempinski Hotel & Resort Sariya Yanbu Red Sea, marking the brand’s second property in the Kingdom and introducing Yanbu’s first internationally branded five-star resort.

Officially welcoming guests from late January 2025, the new resort strengthens Yanbu’s position as an emerging Red Sea destination while supporting Saudi Arabia’s broader tourism and hospitality ambitions under Vision 2030.

A New Luxury Landmark on Al Mahar Island

Located on Al Mahar Island within Yanbu’s Royal Commission zone, the resort is set against a backdrop of pristine coastline, coral-rich waters, and historically significant landscapes. Known as the “Pearl of the Red Sea,” Yanbu offers a quieter alternative to larger tourism hubs, making it well suited to destination-led luxury hospitality.

The resort provides direct access to the waterfront, offering uninterrupted views across the Red Sea and surrounding lagoons.

Kempinski Hotel & Resort Sariya Yanbu Red Sea features 118 rooms and suites, designed to balance contemporary European luxury with regional influences. Many accommodations offer either lagoon-facing or sea-facing views, allowing guests to remain visually connected to the natural environment throughout their stay.

Dining, Events, and Wellness Experiences

The resort presents two primary dining venues. Ragheed serves as an all-day restaurant offering international cuisine with regional influences, while Ghroub Lounge provides a relaxed setting for coffee, light bites, and sunset views over the sea.

For meetings and social gatherings, the property includes a 1,302-square-metre ballroom supported by multiple breakout spaces, accommodating weddings, conferences, exhibitions, and private events.

Wellness facilities include a full-service spa with treatment rooms, sauna and steam areas, a relaxation lounge, a fitness centre, and an infinity pool overlooking the Red Sea. Additional amenities include a marina and round-the-clock in-room dining.

Designed by ara Design International, the resort’s interiors combine refined materials such as marble, warm wood finishes, polished metals, and rich textiles.
