Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Radisson Hotel Madinah, marking the debut of the Radisson brand in the holy city of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The new upscale property strengthens the group’s presence in the Kingdom while catering to the growing number of pilgrims, leisure travelers, and business visitors arriving in the city each year.

First Radisson-branded hotel in Madinah
Radisson Hotel Madinah features 165 modern guest rooms, including 53 business-focused units designed to accommodate corporate travelers and extended-stay guests. The interiors reflect a contemporary design approach with soft tones and elegant finishes that create a comfortable environment for visitors arriving for both spiritual and leisure journeys.

Prime location near Madinah’s key religious landmarks
Radisson Hotel Madinah benefits from a strategic location close to several important sites in the city. The hotel is situated approximately 3 kilometers from the Prophet’s Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi), one of Islam’s holiest landmarks visited by millions of pilgrims each year.
It is also located about 750 meters from Quba Mosque, which is widely recognized as the first mosque built in Islamic history.
The hotel offers convenient connectivity to major transport hubs, including Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, located roughly 16 kilometers away, and Madinah railway station, approximately 10 kilometers from the property, which connects travelers to cities such as Jeddah and Makkah.
Madinah: A city of deep spiritual heritage
Madinah, officially known as Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, holds immense religious importance in Islam and is considered the second holiest city after Makkah. Millions of pilgrims travel to the city every year to visit the Prophet’s Mosque, which houses the resting place of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In addition to its religious landmarks, Madinah also offers historical attractions such as Mount Uhud, traditional markets, and authentic Arabian culinary experiences, providing visitors with a blend of spiritual, cultural, and historical experiences.
Strengthening Radisson Hotel Group’s Saudi portfolio
The opening of Radisson Hotel Madinah reflects Radisson Hotel Group’s continued expansion across Saudi Arabia. The hospitality group currently operates more than 30 hotels in the Kingdom across multiple brands.
The new property also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which aims to diversify the country’s economy by strengthening tourism infrastructure and increasing hospitality capacity across key destinations.
By introducing the Radisson brand to Madinah, the group continues to expand its footprint in one of the Middle East’s most important travel and pilgrimage destinations.
